White Buffalo Tattoo, Body Piercing

White Buffalo Tattoo, Body Piercing
Body art has been around for thousands of years, and its purpose has certainly varied. Some cultures used body as a distinguishing sign of their role within their tribe. Sometimes, body art was used to mark out a person as being a criminal. However, today body art is a way to honor certain aspects of the wearer's life, and also to make an artistic statement.

Tattoos started getting a considerable makeover when ultraviolet tattoos were introduced a couple of decades ago. In order to understand the evolution of these kinds of tattoos, it is first important to understand the club lifestyle that they sprang up amongst.

Basically, people enjoyed the music and dance atmosphere of those clubs. These clubs were often dimly lit with a black light. While these people rebelled at night, many of them had day jobs that would not allow them to have tattoos. Thus, the ultraviolet tattoos were a way of being able to have both, because the tattoos would only be able to be seen under a black light.
The ultraviolet tattoos, as innovative as they were, were also dangerous. First of all, it involved the ink being made from Phosphorous, which is a poisonous substance that could lead to skin cancer. Also, applying the ultraviolet tattoos themselves required a lot of skill, because the artist had to work under a black light to avoid making mistakes. While it was definitely a form of self expression, it was obviously far safer to get regular tattoos.

Tribal Turtle Tattoos So you are ready to get a new tattoo and you have decided that you want a tribal turtle tattoo. You are about to put a permanent piece of artwork on your body so make sure you do the proper research before getting your new ink. There are many things to consider before getting a new tattoo, so I hope these recommendations can help.

It is more than likely that you have already gone to Google images to find artwork. The problem with this is that so has everyone else. You are getting a tattoo because you want something unique and you want to stand out. Using artwork that is freely available online is a bad idea.

I would recommend that you check out a tattoo gallery that you have to pay for. The benefits of this are being able to find an artist that specializes in tribal tattoos. With a pay site you can find an artist that will work hand-in-hand with you on your new design. You will also find better quality tattoo galleries than free websites. And you will find a community of like-minded tribal tattoo enthusiasts that will gladly help you out with any questions that you may have.

The other benefit is having access to an updated list of local tattoo galleries. You can find reviews and recommendations of trusted tattoo artists. This alone can save you a lot of headache.

As you can see you have a lot of decisions to make before you get inked. I want to make sure that you find the right tribal turtle tattoo artwork that will make you happy.

Unique Turtle Tattoo

Unique Turtle Tattoo If you have ever seen some of the turtle tattoos out there, you probably know what I mean when I say imagination is the only limit to design. I must admit I was never especially interested in tattoos of any animal but when I saw a woman with a tribal turtle I began to change my mind. Turns out that turtle tattoos are one of the most requested designs. I know that while looking through the database of designs I use, I came across a few award winning turtle tattoos and I was sold.

Everyone has their own preference, style and taste; mine happens to be that of black ink only and small tattoos as opposed to big pieces. That's just my taste however, and it certainly doesn't have to be yours. There is a design about nine inches long and it's a trail of turtles on their way to somewhere or another; they even have turtle tracks in the design. I saw this on a woman's thigh and it looked great. Another man I saw had psychedelic turtle tattoos and they were abstract in design while vibrant in color. My concern over color is that it fades, as all ink does and this is why I lean towards solid black ink (which looks gray or blue as it fades).

Unique Turtle Tattoo For unique turtle tattoos simply start browsing award winning designs to start (I use chopper-tattoos). Once you find a few you love, turtle or not, start brainstorming ways to combine what you've found. If you have a great tattoo artist you can easily take your designs and show them what aspects of each you like and request they draw a unique design for you. Don't be shy or hesitant if this is your first inking - artists love to create unique pieces.

The Japanese are very artistic ppl .. not only are they particular about the kind of tattoos they put on .. they are into the traditional kind of tattoo and in fact, they are gaining lots of interest of late. These traditional tattoos are not done by just any tattooists but traditional Irezumi is done by only the specialist. The reason behind it is because they are so detailed, they not only are expensive by time consuming and very intensive. While some may think covering the whole body like them is not their taste, the Japanese who does this traditional kind of suit that covers not only the back but the arm and the chest can take up to 5 yrs of work - but only once a week visit, since you can imagine, how painful it can be. And the total cost ..?? is as much as US $30,000. But personally, if i were to have any tattoos done, i would rather do something that means something.
